Once you have chosen your items from the online retailer’s website and you are at the payment / shopping cart screen then you need to leave special instructions to deliver to your LockTin.
Most retailers provide options to give these instructions or you can include them within your address details. You must outline where your LockTin is and the four digit code to open the lock so that the delivery driver knows what to expect.
Once the courier reaches your address they will locate your LockTin via the instructions you provided. They will then enter in the four digit code on the lock, open your LockTin and then deposit the items inside before closing the door. The courier will record the unique PIN number, barcode or QR code that is situated on the inside of the door and this will act as proof of your signature.
When you return home the handy ‘flag’ will be in the up position so you know that the delivery has been made, you enter your four digit user code and retrieve your items.
